I have struggled writing this about page. I can’t decide if I should go on about me, this blog or what I have planned for this site. I have sat down several times to type out what I felt I wanted and just ended up babbling on about stuff that even I was bored to read. So I guess that I will try to do my best to share about me, this blog and where it might go with out totally boring you to death. Also, as time goes on I will add things here and there, so check back if you happen to be bored one rainy day.
About Me
My name is David Poe if you haven’t figured that out yet. I have lived in other places in the Kansas City area but currently live in Mission, KS and have most of the my life. I am currently 31 years old and work for Schneider National as a local driver. I have been driving professionally for over 4 years now. I have tons of hobbies and enjoy many different things. I wont even try to list them, because I will forget all of them as soon as I start trying to type them out.
About The David Poe Show
So you want to know what The David Poe Show is all about? Heck I kinda wonder that myself!? I guess that its my own personal web space to do whatever I want with. Right now its a blog. What are my blogs about? Whatever comes to mind. I consider myself a thinker and am constantly thinking about something and always have something to say about it. I figured that I would create a blog to give some of my ideas, thoughts and opinions a home. Topics are about anything, personal issues or whatever political or religious thoughts I am entertaining at any moment. I read a blog post recently that listed “10 Requisites for Professional Bloggers” saying that you need expertise on a topic, writing skills, technical knowledge, blogging knowledge, web design skills, business/ marketing knowledge, creativity and innovative ideas, a network of contacts to be a professional blogger. Well I can say I have a few of those traits and lack in others (writing skills, if you can’t tell!). So maybe my blog will never be a problog, but its mine and about me so I’m cool with that.
The future of The David Poe Show
I have many thoughts about this and am not sure what will happen. First off I want to see if I can stick to posting on a regular basis, meaning daily. If I can handle that and get more readers than just my Mom then maybe I will look into starting some podcasts, then video casts if any of you want to see my smiling face. I would have to say that the ultimate dream would be that this turns into some sorta of internet talk show or onto radio. The radio part is just a dream and I have no real plan for making it happen. So we will see, I guess that its up to you the reader, if you like me or hate me will you support me? Time will tell.
