You know how sometimes in the new biz they say they are having a slow news day? Welp, I am having a Slow Blog Day so I decided to dust off this old arse video of me eating a chip about 9 years ago. This was proly one of the 1st videos that I ever took of myself on a webcam that I was testing out to deploy at some stores that I managed.
Also, I was messing around with photoshop and a picture of the truck I use at work and made this! Enjoy!
In this video I review the LogMeIn.com LogMeIn app for the iphone. Overall the app is very useful and will be a very handy tool for me. The LogMeIn iPhone app does have a bit of a memory issue and the app has crashed several times as well as locked my iPhone up once. I do think that despite these issues the app is well worth the $29.99 price tag. I hope to see LogMeIn improve on this already great app!
Sometimes you play little practical jokes to lighten the work day. Well this situation might have hypothetically happened. All names, places and events will be considered “hypothetical” and didn’t happen 4 days ago. Enjoy!
I took a really fast trip to NYC Wednesday, December 3rd to meet up with a Twitter friend of mine Charissa Cowart. We shot some silly, fun videos. This is part 1:
I started this “program” called one hundred push ups, seen on the site hundredpushups.com yesterday September 10th 2008. The program is explained at the beginning of this video or you can see it explained on the site (linked above). If you haven’t seen or started this program I recommend that you do!
This video is me starting the program Day 1 of Week 1.
Taking video while I was doing these push ups has show me that my form is horrible. In my head I thought my form was great! But seeing it on video, I realize that my butt is kinda pushed up in the air which isn’t proper form for a push up. I would recommend that you video your work outs (hundred push ups program or not) to watch your form and see if you are doing your exercises correctly. You don’t have to publish it for the world to see like I did.
I have been on Flickr since September 2006 and I just have to say that Flickr boggles my mind! Why do you say this you might ask? I feel that I am a decent very amateur photographer and when I started flickr I would only post what I would consider some of my best photography work. Recently, I started post photos of what I would consider lesser quality in content and framing and many that pertain to the trucking business. What boggles my mind is that one “lesser quality” picture of mine has more views then all of my “better” photos combined.

I will keep posting pictures of all qualities, but I just find it funny that certain photos that I figured would do better aren’t doing so great and photos that I figured wouldn’t do good are doing mind boggling Flickr good!
Weight is an issue that I have struggled with for several years. I always told myself that I wouldn’t let myself get fat or out of shape as I was growing up. But as you can see in the 1st picture taken Easter 2007 I had lost control.
Dave at his fattest!
Knowing that I needed to re-gain control of my health I started taking steps to drop the weight that I have gained and have been doing good! I have just simply changed things like types of foods I was eating, quantity, and have added exercise to my daily routine. At my largest I weighted in at a whooping 353. I am currently at just under 320. woot! You can the weight loss in my face for sure.
